Wings Forlag, etablert av Cato Guhnfeldt i 1990, er Norges eneste forlag som har spesialisert seg på dokumentarbøker om den norske luftkrigen under 2. Verdenskrig. To av forlagets bøker er hedret med Fritt Ords Honnørpris (i 1996). Storverket er «Spitfire Saga» på syv bind, om krigsinnsatsen til de to jagerskvadronene 331 og 332 Skvadron. Verket, med bidrag fra over 250 krigsveteraner og deres pårørende, inneholder rundt 4500 bilder. Det veier nærmere 14 kilo. En serie med mindre bøker består av biografier/selvbiografier om norske krigsflyvere. Samtlige bøker er innbundet med omslag, og trykket på enten dobbelt- eller trippelbestrøket kunstrykkpapir.

Flykunst

Åtte flotte kunsttrykk-bilder viser norske krigsfly. Alle bildene er malt av britiske Roger Middlebrook på oppdrag fra Wings Forlag. Middlebrook er flere ganger blitt kåret til Aviation Artist of the Year i Storbritannia. Trykkene som er uinnrammet, sendes forsvarlig i stive pappruller som beskytter bildene. Perfekt for hobby-rommet, peisestuen, klubblokalet, kontoret, kantinen etc.

The book series «Spitfire Saga» presents the full story of Norway’s two fighter Squadrons during Wold War 2 – 331 and 332 Squadron. There are seven volumes in all, with a total of 2272 pages in A4 format (hard bound). The books contain more than 4500 photographs, all printed on trippel coated art paper. Although the main text is in Norwegian, the volumes contain the following in ENGLISH:
